Junior /Senior Prom 2025 - April 26th 7:00 at Blackburn Inn - If you plan to bring an outside guest, forms are in the front office.  These forms are due back to the school by Wednesday,  April 23rd at 3:30**.

Senior Walk and Prom Court will begin at 9PM.

Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased from Avoli-Miller room 302.  Please make checks payable to Staunton High School or bring cash for tickets.

Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Chicago: Teen Edition

April 11, 12 & 13

Tickets are $12 for students & $15 general admission.

Note: Chicago contains some adult themes and language. It may not be suitable for very young audiences.

Join us at the Staunton High School track to walk or run for your favorite school and help them win the Kindness Matters Walkathon Champion title and trophy! 

Registration is open until 5 p.m., Sept. 27. Advance registration only; there will be no event-day registration.

We'll offer family-friendly activities, including outdoor games, an interactive snack and beverage station and a kindness craft station.

There’s no fixed registration fee, but we encourage participants to make a donation to The Kindness Fund when you sign up. Your generosity will help sustain this wonderful initiative in our schools and community.

Students get your tickets for this years Homecoming Dance!

Open House for 9th graders is 5-6:30 pm. Open House for 10th-12th grades is 6:30 - 8 pm. Come meet your teachers, find your classes and get your schedule.

It is very important that we have up-to-date information for your student, so please take a few minutes to review your information and update it as needed. Even if you have no changes, please review your student's information and confirm that it is correct.\ You should access the online registration system, LINQ, at https://bit.ly/register_scs. You may also access the registration link on the Staunton City Schools website, under “Registration.” If you do not have a LINQ account please contact your student(s) school in order to receive an access code for your student.\ Some changes, such as an address or custody change, will require you to provide additional documentation directly to your student’s school. Please contact your child’s school directly for more information regarding this.\ If you have any questions regarding this process, or if you are unable to complete the online registration, please contact your student’s school or the Staunton School Board Office at (540) 332-3920.

The Storm Marching Band recently placed 2nd and won Best Music in Class A at the JMU Parade of Champions. Last month, they performed in the Blast in the Draft competition at Stuarts Draft High School and won 1st place overall in Class A, 1st place in music and visual, 2nd place in general effect, and 3rd in percussion and color guard.
